In Othello, not only is Othello alienated but shows that Iago and the other characters alienated as well. This shows that everyone in the world is alienated in a certain way. Alienation is also what makes us unique as we are judged by our characteristics, physical features etc etc. This shows that Alienation can be defined on the extent on how you treat other people based on their features. This creates a personal opinion dillema in which everyones opinions might differ from others but may also be similar creating groups, and alienating the one person, who in this case is Othello because hes black.

Mikey, this is a little confusing. You're saying that everyone is alienated, that we're alienated for many reasons, that our individuality is why we're alienated, and that it can happen based on when a whole society has the same opinion. I think it's too much. I'd rather you looked how all of your texts deal with the concept and then come up with what you want to say about all of them. But only one or two things max. You need to be able to back everything up with techniques too.
ReplyDeletehmm ok il try again. thx
