Sorry, hadn't checked the blog in awhile. Basically, if the stimulus given to you in the HSC says use this as a stimulus or a basis for a narrative, then you only have to have the idea in your own story. There have been years where they've specifically asked people to start their stories with the stimulus but people who didn't did not lose marks.

i was just about to start core 2, but do we actually have to put our chosen stimulus sentences in our actual story? because in the instructions it just says "use one of the following as the inspiration for a piece of Creative Writing"..
